ARROVENTARE. Definiz: Roventáre. Latin. candefacere, excandefacere, ignitum reddere. Esempio: Stor. S. Eustach. Comandò, che incontanente fosse fatto un vitello di rame, e fosse bene arroventato per tre dì. Esempio: Sag. Nat. Esp. 4. Il modo d'empierlo, sarà con arroventar la padella, e poi subitamente tuffar la bocca.
